Janome releases the Heavy Duty 9 QC PROFESSIONAL

JANOME high speed machines have been evaluated by the market since their launched because of the highly stability and durability represented “Proven Quality of JANOME”.
In this time, after a few decades of JANOME high speed machines launched, we are pleased to be announce that the Heavy Duty 9 QC PROFESSIONAL as a successor model of current high speed machines such as Heavy Duty 9 PROFESSIONAL.
Development concept
The Heavy Duty 9 QC PROFESSIONAL is added following new and improved features for diversity demands while inheriting the main features of the current models.- Floating function
By lifting the presser foot up slightly with the floating dial, layer slippage and wrinkles are reduced for quilting projects, knit fabrics, velvet, and so on.
- Drop feed dog
Free motion quilting is now possible without a darning plate.

Exterior design concept
The design is built around three defining concepts: rugged, robust, and refined. Its overall form is shaped by bold, crisp planes and sharp linear edges, reminiscent of surfaces carved with a chisel or plane. This clean, purposeful geometry evokes the precision and honesty of a craftsman’s tools.
By rethinking the internal structural layout, we reduced the machine’s overall volume while expanding the working space. The horizontally elongated accent panel on the front creates a low, streamlined silhouette, reinforcing visual unity with the CM8P and expressing a strong family identity.
The result is a design that embodies functional beauty and long-lasting durability, the ideal aesthetic for a professional high-speed straight-stitch sewing machine.
