Since I was a very young child I’ve always enjoyed making things but I only learned to dress make in my 20’s when I bought my first JANOME.

My dream is to encourage everyone to make Just One Quilt in their lifetime and together with JANOME.

I used my favorite pair of iridescent embroidery. Scissors as inspiration as they are by my machine.

I loved the 100th anniversary knot.

I decided to make a friendship star block and quilted it on my MC500E machine. During lockdown I made many sewing life long friends.

I designed on a strong diagonal design to decide the two areas of the block.

The design I have chosen is a machine embroidery applique block from Kreative Kiwi, it is selection of blocks used for a wall hanging.

I have used the circular attachment that this is one of my favorite accessories.

Buttons are as essential as your sewing machine. I designed the foundation paper piecing pattern of a button to show of the mizuhiki fabric.

I only began sewing in lockdown. I’ve made masks and scrubs. My sewing machine helped me through lockdown. So it symbolises strength and creativity.

All you need to start sewing in a needle and thread.
